About Succeeding in Internet Network Marketing
Friday, December 7, 2007 at 03:54PM In the old school of Network Marketing personal development was a big part of the life of an entrepreneur, especially when it came to your emotional growth and help with getting you to act just because the process was many times associated with painful experiences, such as having to chase your family and friends, cold call, prospecting the waitress and so forth. You get the point; you know what you had to do, if you were at least a little bit serious about succeeding in Network Marketing.
Building your Network Marketing business with The “New” Attraction-based model is much more pleasurable experience than the “old” school way. It’s easier, more effective and attractive. However, here as well you still would have to embrace qualities that leaders have if you want to become a real winner.
Of course you will get results without these qualities, however if you really want the ultimate success in business you will have to work on yourself and continue with your personal development.
There are a lot of qualities that a true leader has and it’s hard to distinguish which of them are most important to start working on first. I have chosen just one for this article that I believe it to be a very important one to begin with when aiming for a successful lifestyle.
It is your ability to focus on your priorities.
Successful people don’t drift to the top. It takes focused action, personal discipline and lots of energy every day to make things happen.
Successful people are able to clearly define what brings them the most productive results and focus most of their attention on them.
But it is not easy for an entrepreneur starting with the “New” Attraction Marketing model to embrace such qualities without a conscious effort.
Because this “New” model is mostly built on the Internet it’s extremely easy to get distracted and waste a lot of time on the wrong things.
For example, you may have a MySpace account and following the direction of the teachings of the “New” attraction-based model you are purely trying to develop relationships with people falling into the category of your target market.
You are connecting with other entrepreneurs in the industry, building relationships, getting to know them and whatever you could to help them like you.
However, if you spend too much time on this activity just talking to them, and hanging out, when it comes to plugging them into an auto responder, for example, or even showing them your capture page, website, etc. what you have may not be quite impressive and reflecting a leader’s website.
The reason is because you did not spend enough time there.
Let’s say you have a blog and you spend a lot of your time on writing articles and content, fixing the look of your blog etc. However, you may not be spending enough time on marketing it and hardly anyone visits your blog.
Now this could be different for each individual, and only you would know which actions are most productive for your business.
And to start on the path of success you have to find out what are the business habits that are most effective for your business and put them on top of your priorities.
You have to invest most of your time every week doing what brings you the best results.
You always have to start your day with your priorities first.
