Network Marketing Smart

A couple or so months ago I had a very nice conversation with a guy from Canada. His name is Tim Huguet and he calls himself the Travelling InterNETwork Marketer because he travels a lot and now with the Internet he can build his business from anywhere in the world.

Initially Tim had called me because he found one of my Network Marketing YouTube videos online and he was very interested to see if he can build his network marketing business like I do – using the Internet and attracting prospects to his business.

Tim shared with me that just a couple of months ago he had joined a network marketing opportunity and he had already managed to spend a few thousand dollars on training and leads by his upline’s advice.

His upline had convinced him that the only way he is going to build a successful network marketing business is if he commits to a $1000 purchase of leads every month. That was a proven system to network marketing success. (Why does this sound familiar to me? I couldn’t believe my ears what I was hearing and I was so glad I didn’t have to ever do this again for my own business.)

Tim’s story was a reminder to me of how we network marketers sabotage this industry and give it a bad name by taking advantage of people who want to believe in the industry and make them spend all their money until they are drown from exhaustion and debt and never want to look back.

I was however, very happy that Tim had contacted me. He’d already read The Renegade Network Marketer ebook by Ann Sieg and just wanted an additional confirmation that this works and he is taking the right path. And I am glad I answered the phone because this new way of building a network marketing business does really work. It worked for me, it worked for Tim and many others.
