Network Marketing Smart

As many of you already know, I began blogging just less than three months ago. I haven’t really had as much time as I want to dedicate to blogging, so I basically have been doing it part time.

In this article I am going to share with you what I believe to be the biggest reason why my blog is getting good rankings on Google and it’s only going to continue improving.

First, let me quickly share with you how and why I began blogging.

I am building a network marketing business but I wasn’t making money fast enough to be able to support myself by building the way I was doing it – the “old School” way.  What I refer to “old school” way is the calling of cold leads, the three foot rule, chasing friends and family etc., something you are probably very familiar with if you are in Network Marketing.

I started looking on the Internet for alternative ways of building my business and other income sources. I read a book called “The Renegade Network Marketer ” ebook by Ann Sieg which was exactly what I was looking for. It introduced me to a completely new way of building my network marketing business. Once I was done with the book I was absolutely convinced that I had to start teaching my network marketing team about it and that’s basically how I decided to start blogging.

By blogging not only I am able to provide valuable and educational content to my team of network marketers and teach them what I had started to learn, but I also am able to very successfully promote myself and attract more people to my team because of my blog’s exposure all over the Internet.
But let’s narrow down to the topic of this article, which is how I got to rank on second and third pages of Google for the keywords I wanted to.

(Btw, after I wrote this aricle I had continue moving up on the Search Engines and have been able to reach 1st page of Google even with double listings and hold that position - for The Renegade System, The Renegade Network Marketer, Network Marketing Success, Network Marketing Book, Network Marketing Videos…etc)

Before I had even found Ann Sieg’s book I had picked up ”Blogging to The Bank” by Rob Benwell. I was very overwhelmed by it. I had tried to follow the instructions and creating a blog with Wordpress. But that was really too complicated for me and very frustrating.

I found Squarespace and this is the blogging platform that I am using right now with this blog and I am very happy with it. I really didn’t have to do almost any work to structure my blog and was almost immediately ready to start creating content for it. But once I had the content I had to start learning about the marketing part of my Blog and how to attract traffic and readership to it.

So I came back to “Blogging to The Bank”. Even though a big chunk of the book is very overwhelming for me, particularly the part about setting up a Wordpress blog the rest of it is absolutely awesome. Rob introduces you to every way you could be marketing your blog on the Internet in details in his book and it’s really easy to follow. Not only that but he also gives a few very handy software programs as a bonus for purchasing his book.

I have started applying most of what Rob has mentioned in his book, but what I really focused on was Article Submission and using his Article Assistant software.

That is what I believe to be the biggest reason why I was able to rank on page two and three for the keywords that I was aiming for in my first few weeks of blogging.

Try it out – type in Google –“renegade system” or “the renegade system” and you will see me in the middle of page 2 and first on page three. Of course this ranking will vary and what I aiming for is the first page so make sure you check the date of this article when you go and test it out.
