Social Network Marketing! The New Way of Going About Your Business! Join a Social Networking Site!

“The Renegade Network Marketer” by Ann Sieg teaches a new way of building a network marketing business. Ann Sieg explains that 95% of Network Marketers who apply “old school” techniques in their business never get into a positive cash flow in their network marketing career.
She goes into explaining that pitching and selling to everyone is not a very successful model or a pleasant one. Then she talks about a way for network marketers that does not involve any pitching any selling and any chasing. What she talks about is a very empowering model that actually allows your prospects to find YOU and at the same time makes you money even when you don’t sign them up in you network marketing opportunity.
I am not going to now describe everything that Ann Sieg talks about in her book “The Renegade Network Marketer” in this post, and she definitely does a great job, so you might as well want to pick it up, because it will change the way you look at your business completely.
I want to talk to you about some of the things that you can start doing to actually achieve the results that I mentioned above. Basically, I am going to get you started in the process of attracting prospects to you and making money along the way.
But, before that stop reading if you are expecting some magic pill or a button you can click on that totally transforms your business in seconds without an effort.
If this is what you are expecting then you should you should just give up on your dreams and the idea of having a home-based business, because this juts isn’t reality.
I am going to just tell you of a way that got me started and has so far together with other marketing strategies that I am applying broouhgt me over $5000 and has attracted over 400 prospects who keep sending me e-mails and calling me every week.
Yee -ha, Social Network Marketing, baby!
You will be using what’s called Social Marketing strategies. Here I want to explain that in the old model you had to or at least I had to invest a lot of money on buying leads, flying to events to learn how to call and prospect those leads, and investing a lot of time into calling the leads…etc.
Well, in the new model I don’t need to invest any money if I don’t want to and here’s something cool, I make more money that I used to. But in the new model I invest a lot of time in other things that are essential for my business success.
I invest a lot of time into making new friends, building relationships and providing value to those relationships which builds my reputation as someone trustworthy, and someone they can turn to later or whenever. This is a process that I enjoy a lot; it’s a lot of fun. And I want to help you understand this process and I want you to not go out do anything before you really understand what I am talking about.
Not Everyone Is Your Prospect
First, I am very careful who I make friends with. I only spend my time with those who are like minded. People who are interested in the same things I am and have something to learn and something to teach to them.
Remember you were told that you should pursue everyone and that everyone is your prospect. However, this is not true and this model of chasing everyone and the three foot rule has proven to be very unsuccessful. Not everyone is like you, wanting the same things that you do. Not everyone wants to be in business for themselves and take responsibility, not everyone wants to be filthy rich etc.
So make sure you are hanging out in the right crowd.
MySpace and Facebook
How do I do this?
There is a ton of places called Social Networking Sites on the Internet where you can create a profile, add pictures, videos of yourself, write your bio, your message and make friends and join networks with like minded individuals, and a lot more.
I am only going to mention the two most massive ones where I have already made over 600 new friends.
I am talking about MySpace.com and FaceBook.com. If you haven’t yet made an account with these two Social Networking Sites you absolutely should.
When you do consider adding me as your friend and send me a message or a comment. When you send me a comment it will be seen by all of my friends when they come to my profile, which gives you exposure.

I don’t want to say too much in this post about how to brand you in these social networking sites. I will be doing this in future posts. I just want to get you started in the process and then make something very clear.
You might be reading this post and you might not have even read The Renegade Network Marketer. You might be just coming from the old school Network Marketing world. You may be already seeing the wonderful opportunity in front of you and get very excited, that I just shared with you a way of which you can be exposed to hundreds and thousands of people.
But be careful, take the excitement down and realize that You might hurt yourself in such a way that may be very hard to repair if you are brining your old network marketing habits to the world of Social Marketing and the New Attraction network marketing.
Please, wait for my next posts and don’t go out there and start pitching your deal, or offer your services or anything like this. Just create your account and look around to see what other people like me have done.
Give First and Then Receive
The Internet is very empowering tool for your Network Marketing business, but there is already established online social marketing mindset. The online communities in which you are about to enter look very badly to people who are selfish and have a hidden agenda, or people who don’t have a sense of what a community means. You have to be always putting the community first before yourself. That’s how people trust you that you are someone who cares.
You should remember this – Give and then receive. So, don’t go out there with the mindset I want to sign up people in my network marketing opportunity, I want to make money and I don’t care what people think as long as I am able to sell to a few. First lay a foundation and then build upon that. This may take a few days, weeks or even months but believe me its worth.
So create an account with Facebook.com and Myspace.com and then I am going to talk to you about how to make friends who have similar interests to you and what to do from there.
