What is my Network Marketing Story?

I’ve been in the network marketing industry for more than two and a half years. I consider myself very lucky that I learned about this powerful industry almost right away after arriving in this country.

My success, however, didn’t come along as I expected very easily or fast. In fact, I never thought I could be struggling with it so much.

I am the go getter type of person! And as soon as I learned that I can pretty much never have to work for someone else and be making a residual income that will allow me to spend my time as I desire by being a part of the network marketing industry I was with the “Yeah Baby. I am going for it! Nothing can stop me!” type of attitude.

I knew there would be work involved and certain new skills had to be learned. I was extremely excited about it. And every time I went to a training event or bought new CD’s and books to learn more and more I felt that this was the last piece of the puzzle to a successful network marketing career.

Then I just had to go out there and talk to people or call people on the phone. Use my new learned skills, find about their why and present my solution.

If you are an old school Network Marketer and you have just come to the Internet to build your MLM you are in a very risky spot.

In just about hours you can be banned from the Internet Social Marketing communities, like YouTube, MySpace, Facebook and many others.

Bringing your old Network Marketing habits will not do you any good.

You may have done old school Network Marketing techniques so far and for a long time and that’s OK. Pretty much all Network Marketers have done them as well. That’s what we have been taught to do in the Network Marketing industry for years - pitching, selling and chasing everyone who has a pulse.

Network Marketing Do’s and Dont’s

However, you will only hurt yourself if you bring your old school Network Marketing mindset with you when you come to the Internet looking for business and trying to build your MLM.

In this video I am reading an e-mail I received in my YouTube inbox from a Network Marketer who had literally created  an account with YouTube 7 hours before I found his message.

This apparently “very savvy” old school network marketer has been on the online world for less than 7 hours and had already been able to spam my YouTube inbox trying to sell me on his network marketing opportunity and that he would love to have me on his team.

In 7 hours this network marketer had successfully ruined his reputation not only in front of me but many others. I am sure I wasn’t the only one he sent a message with pitching his Network Marketing opportunity and the specials of his compensation plan. I won’t be surprised if his account has been deleted next time I check out his empty YourTube page.

I didn’t even know him but now I am so repelled that I would never consider ever talking business with him.

You maybe saying “DiDi you are too harsh on him”, but guys no I am showing you exactly how most people in the Social Marketing places all over the Interent react when they get a message like this.  Remember, when I told you don’t go out there yet even when I introduced you to MySpace and Facebook. Now I am showing you why. I wanted to protect you, because I know that sometimes you might not even realize but you are pitching and this is considered spamming.

The Internet can be a powerful tool for your business. There is a whole new science called Attraction Network Marketing that uses the Internet as a tool. You can significantly improve your overall MLM business results by knowing about it. You can even create multiple streams of income while building your Network Marketing, but you’ve got to know how and what is right and what’s wrong to do.

The Internet puts you 3 feet away from the whole world but in 3 seconds if you are not doing the right think you can completely ruin every chance from being successful.
